Meet Bernie Rivers
Service starts with listening.
With more than 40 years of comprehensive law-enforcement experience, Bernie has devoted his career to protecting Orange County families. He rose through the ranks to serve at the highest levels of leadership, retiring as Director of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation’s Division of Law Enforcement.
A graduate of the FBI National Academy, Bernie believes public safety is strongest when law enforcement and the community work together through open communication, mutual respect, and clear standards for everyone entrusted to serve.
